When I got my h100i many months back, the screws would not fit in the radiator so I ghetto'ed it and used some other screws that are more high profile and stick up about 1cm with stupid rubber washers. I am wondering why the screws that came with the h100i did not fit (Have you had this problem) and what the real size should be because Im sick of looking at the ghettoness.

How thick were the fans you used?

It should've worked fine with standard 25mm thick NF-F12's but a lot of people seem to have this problem with the H100i. Probably a result of poor quality control. The H100i is far from all it's cracked up to be. If a new AIO is in the cards, I recommend the Cooler Master Seidon 240M.

I've never had a problem with any of the Corsair H--- line. Give them a call and tell them the problem, if it's within the warranty period of the rad they'll probably honor it and give you an RMA...although I would not mention the fact that you used alternative screws.

 

Doesn't sound as bad as the 212 EVO I got without one of the four main board mounting bolts not having any kind of threading to speak of :lol:
