Xbox one controller vs Xbox 360 controller

Go to solution Solved by EChondo,

The Xbox One controller will not work wirelessly with PC. As of right now, there are no adapters on the market that will make it work wirelessly on PC, so you would have to use a Micro-USB cable.

Correct. You can buy a receiver for the Xbox 360 controller if OP wants wireless.

I personally like the Xbox 360 controller as it feels a lot more comfortable compared the Xbox One controller. Its shape, stick design, the way the buttons feel, etc.

I use a Logitech F310 right now as other 360 controller is being used by my sister for her Xbox, but I plan to buy 4-8 more Xbox 360 controllers for LAN play on emulators and whatnot down the line.

depends on your comfort, i prefer the xbox 360 controller though

never tried the xbone controller for comfort, however the buttons are more sensitive and stuff on the xbone controller so that could be better

When it comes down to the Xbox 360 controller versus the Xbox One controller you have to remember that the 360 controller as opposed to the latter can be sold in a bundle with a wireless USB dongle for Windows. Being able to play without a wire is a huge deal for me personally, so keep this in mind. The 360 controller is by no means a bad controller, it's pretty much the standard for PC gaming controllers and last I checked was cheaper than the Xbox One controller. I own 4 as well as two charging docks for when my friends come over to play local co-op games.

Is xbox one wireless ? and can be connected to pc via receiver ? And is there any other controller better than xbox 360 ? How are dualshock ps4 and Ps3 controllers?

Yes it's wireless, and on PC you need to connect it with a USB to micro USB cable. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

I guess im in the minority here.  I went from a 360 to the One controller and i like it alot more.  Sticks feel more responsive as does the d-pad and buttons.  The new bumpers took a bit getting used to but once i did I actually prefer them.

I had a 360 controller for a couple years, then bought an xbone controller as soon as the drivers were released. I love it. I dislike the 360 controller now. I'd suggest go to a best buy or somewhere that has demos and get a feel for the controller.
