peers are people that are also downloading the file, and may be seeding simultaneously.

btw, we're allowed to discuss torrenting, but nothing illegal, so you should probably remove the picture and you should be 100% clear and no gray area on this.

@People in this thread, this question can also refer to just torrenting which some free software uses, it's not always bad

Pirating =/= torrenting.  

In fact, in most torrenting programs, it warns you not to use it for illegal activities.

Well, while he may be pirating, he's got 2000 posts he, and claims to be  a hardcore gamer in his user title. If he doesn't know what peers are, it's likely he has bought all/almost all of his games. So there's that.
