Which Ram is better price/performance
Go to solution
Solved by TheMcSame,
Well... let's dig into it shall we.
This is the formula I'll be using to calculate performance:
(CL/(Speed in MHz/2) * 1000) = speed in ns
Real RAM speed calculations:
1. 9/(1866/2)*1000 = 9.6463022508
2.10/(1866/2)*1000= 10.718113612
3.11/(2133/2)*1000= 10.3141115799
4.9/(1866/2)*1000 = 9.6463022508
So from those calculations we've found that 1 and 4 are the highest performing... Now we work out the price to performance ratio (all money amounts will be rounded to the closest Euro cent.
1. 88.37/9.6463022508 = 9.16 EUR
2. 78.51/10.718113612 = 7.32 EUR
3. 82.50/10.3141115799 = 8 EUR
4. 85/9.6463022508 = 8.81 EUR
TL;DR
Option 2
