At least it isn't as bad as VAT was when I lived in Germany. 19% Tax, but fortunately it was almost always already included in the price

But just you don´t see it doesn´t mean it´s not there. This GPU in Canada costs almost as much as in Germany...

in quebec the PST (TVQ we call here: Taxe de Vente du Québec) is 9,975 % so its not too bad where you at...overall we pay 14.975% taxes on everything we buy.

Here in Québec the PST (TVQ we call here: Taxe de Vente du Québec) is 9,975 % ...overall we pay 14.975% taxes on everything we buy.

That's crap. They really get you don't they. Where I'm at in the states it comes in at a total of 9.25% between the state and local/city taxes.
