Android L isn't even mainstream, so forget about even thinking about Android M...

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

Well the name Android L was never really a full name for the operating system. It's probably going to be named something else.

It about being ahead of the curve, optimizing for new technology, and making sure new architecture works as expected.

Surely it's obvious by now that m will come out, and that it will be late 2015... And of course Google are starting to think about it - making an operating system can't just be done overnight. The only really surprising thing about this is that stuff like this is already being leaked, even if it is stuff that we could have already guessed.

Well the name Android L was never really a full name for the operating system. It's probably going to be named something else.

 

My guess is that they're moving away from the dessert naming scheme and simply using letters. Next will be continue to be L, then M, etc.
