LG 34UC97

I have the 34UM95, and it love everything about it. Now I want an upgrade though. Both the curve, and TB2 support is fantastic for me.

Only issue is the VESA compatibility, why is it region based? A professional monitor should always have it.

I don't understand why height adjustable/VESA compatible mounts aren't standard with every monitor and TV these days and not having at least one or the other is a deal breaker. Compound that with their business practices concerning their TV's and they have effectively lost my custom.

Linus mentioned giving his long term impressions via a podcast. What podcast is he referring to?

Can you actually get this on amazon yet, I only saw one dealer and don't know if it's legit, and NCIX doesn;t have it yet either...

Anybody there who can help?

Damn that's a nice monitor, think there's any chance of G-Sync 120/144 hz version in the near-future? Really wish somebody would make an ultra-wide IPS G-Sync monitor.
