Compatibility Notes

  • icon_info_sgl.gifThe NZXT H440 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 406mm long, but video cards over 294mm may block drive bays. Since the XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Double Dissipation Video Card is 295mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.

Neah you won't need all the bays anyway

beside you can still a put a hdd there but will be hard to get it out without removing the gpu

Beware of him that is slow to anger; for when it is long coming, it is the stronger when it comes, and the longer kept. Abused patience turns to fury.

No? Yes? Maybe? Are you trying to fill all the drive cages with hard drives?

Well then it will be perfectly fine. You will need to remove a drive cage to fit the graphics card, but there are other spots in the case where you can mount your drives.

It has 2 drive bays that can be removed.  It all depends on if you are using more than a few hard drives.  There are 2 slots on the psu shroud for SSD drives and there is a slot on the bottom of the case under the drive bays for a HDD.  If you aren't using more than that then I say remove both drive bays for better air flow.
