XBox One Controller for PC

GoodBytes

This would be a good package for PC gamers if they included a USB extension as well. Not everyone is using their controller on a mobile device, and I certainly know a 9" cable won't reach my tower from a comfortable playing position.

But yeah, the existing XBox One controller works fine on PC. I've used mine without issue.

Never say it's not broken. Everything is broken. Why? Because everything needs MOAR POWA!

They should sell all of the controllers like this imo, especially PS3 and 4 controllers. Those had batteries built right in. And since the XB1 controller can be wired without batteries it should have come with a cable imo.

As far as use on the PC i've not played a game that uses the vibration in the triggers, and playing Destiny with it... well it's not all that special really. I use an XB1 controller with my PC because my old wired 360 controller is used and abused. And I don't have a wireless dongle for my wireless ones. I have also used the PS3 and PS4 controllers though and I need to get me a better bluetooth dongle so I can use them wirelessly. I prefer the XB1 controller over the Playstation ones but would also use a 360 controller just as well. It's all preference. Only use it for racing games and the occasional game that just feels like it needs a controller (Kindoms of Almalor or whatever it's called... only played the demo though) or for emulated games. And i'm going to get the USB classic controllers for that soon anyway. Other than that the main controller I use is the Shield portable anyway so...

Someone needs to come out with a controller with the idea for use with PC. Like, uses xinput (or direct by the toggle of a switch) and come with all the stuff needed to operate it wired and wirelessly. Someone like Logitech, or Corsair, or anyone really. The last alright controller I remember seeing was the Saitek Cyborg controller that also worked with the 360 (was marketed as a PC controller, but was just a third party 360 controller). Something. I'm still gonna use keyboard and mouse on everything, but a nice solid controller would be nice too.

If it's not broken, take it apart and fix it.

I still don't get it why this is such a popular controller, it's a big chunky fuck with shitty analog placement.

The analogs next to each other like on PS controllers and other Pc controllers is just so much better.

I just want wireless support :/ Hate micro-usb, my micro-usb broke after 3 days of use.

Stop pulling it by the cable or handing it like a gorilla?

This is just an Xbox One controller with a micro usb. Nothing proprietary about it.

Thats just like, your opinion man.

Many people prefer the Xbox button layout and it kinda helps that the inputs are standardized across PC games cause, hmm, its bloody Microsoft and their own product running on their own OS so it seems to work just fine.
