I love the look of stock Android and can't wait for Android L. I'm looking for a phone with stock (or nearly stock) Android loaded out of the box. I can't afford Google Play Editions, unfortunately. I can't buy anything off-contract due to the price, but anything past $300 is a bit of a stretch. My carrier is AT&T. Anything you guys/girls would recommend?

i've been looking at the Moto X! It's my top choice right now, but I just want to see if there was anything like Moto X but with a better camera. Otherwise, that's what I'm getting.

P.S. I'm a newb and don't know how to post in a subforum... yes im an idiot

yeah I was talking about the 2nd gen. I'm used to Windows Phone so the low-light performance kind of sucks to me. But, I agree that the camera is better.

Any invites? xD I'd love to get a OnePlus One, but since I have no need to get an unlocked phone, I feel like I could do better for $350 on contract. But back to the main point... any invites? :D

Really? I thought Nexus 6 would come out next year... Anyways, if it's better than the Nexus 5 (which i found to be a bit of a letdown), I'll definitely check it out.

Nexus 5 came around halloween last year, so I'd expect that's what the 6 would come around by

The only phone that has close to stock Android from AT&T is the Moto X. It's decent, especially if you get to use MotoMaker.

Something to think about; you're not getting a better deal on a phone when you buy from your carrier. Your up front cost is lower, but you pay it back over the term of the plan.

You should get a lower rate for bringing your own device. If not, you've not negotiated your contract well enough.

Most of the time it costs about the same or more than buying an unlocked phone.

Really? I thought Nexus 6 would come out next year... Anyways, if it's better than the Nexus 5 (which i found to be a bit of a letdown), I'll definitely check it out.

What didn't you like about the 5? I found it to easily be the best Nexus device yet.

Moto G 2nd Gen, you can't beat it for just $179. I plan on ordering one for myself soon, I plan on going with black to try to avoid color bleeding like she exampled in the video (plus it has a notification LED which you can barely see on the white version). It should be something you can snag off-contract easily.
