7870 GHZ Arma 3?

So before you say google i did. I couldnt find any benchmarks and only 1 video with a guy using a 8350 (lolz) 

 

I have a I7-4770k on stock. Do you guys think it will be suffecient? Max settings is not required. I think it will be alright but figured i would ask here.

My mate plays arma 3 on a 640 and he seems to enjoy it

I could run it on my GTX 560 at medium-high settings and I would get 30-40FPS at most times. Obviously a 7870 will fare better.

Arma 3 is so broken you shouldn't worry to much about what your using to run it, as soon as you get on a busy server or a large mission your frame rate is going to tank to matter what you have.

Its still that bad? I mean is it even worth 60 bucks? Or even 30 on sale?

Will run way better than my friends 560m gets 30 on the lowest setting :l

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

Oh yeah it's definitely worth it. I've clocked more hours on that game than TF2. If you get it, try out Altis Life and tell me what you think of it.

It's definitely worth $30 (unless your really strapped for cash), but $60 seems a bit much for any game.

 

Smaller missions and servers are okay to play but when you get into 50+ people servers or large mission the frame rate can go down the 20 to 30 for extended periods of time.

$60 is a bit much, I snatched it for $50 during the early days of the Steam sales before it dropped to $30 a few days later. Depends if you can find a good deal.
