Yes, 12k physics with 6 Threads, and i think 15k with 12 threads, will run a 12thread score in a few minutes

Just gotta figure out how to keep the combined score consistent. Sometimes it will randomly score only 8400, while scoring ~9700 immediately after the bad run. No settings change, priority set to realtime always (with normal it's always low physx, low combined).

I'm hoping my next quad crossfire setup can put a dent in my numbers

And that's weird about the score.

Very nice score! I had the same issue with scores then realized I had my antivirus doing it's monthly check up in the background. Might not be it but something to check.

That a very nice score you pulled there my current best with my 290x Lighting (Currently PSU limited)

I'm hitting an amperage wall with it when it goes underload for any heavy 3D benching.

I know I got up to 4.8 24/7 stable on my 4770k but it needs a delid to keep the temps in check as well.

Used 4770k, or get a 4790k. Delid either one you get, but check for what it can post at for clock speeds first. I purposely killed my first 4770k to get a replacement and my first one took 1.78v to do 4.7-4.8GHz barely stable for Firestrike. The one I have now can do 4.8 24/7 stable at 1.35v and I don't have the thermal headroom on the stock tim under the IHS to push any more.

Thanks. I don't have one running. I disable most services and close almost all backgroud apps before doing the tests. So it's just 3dmark running, i even close explorer :)

 

To get a good run from the 1st go i found that I have to do the physics / combined tests only at the start (custom benchmark tab), and if those score well then I can do the full firestrike run. They tend to always score bad on the 1st run of 3dmark after booting for some reason.

 

Also it's not fun being not consistent since i'm not fully stable when benching and they are mostly suicide runs going like boot windows, close all services apps running, run FS get bad score, wait a bit to cool down, 2nd run needs to score well because 3rd run will always freeze in the graphics test (my 1510 core not so stable :)) and I have to reboot, close services again, apps, restart, takes ages, hope that made sense :D

Wish i had more luck on the silicon lottery to hit ~1550 on the cards like i've seen others do on theirs. Some are even getting 1530 on the custom PCB aircooled units and it's not because of them adding more then the 1.28v reference limit. But can't complain, finally got the setup silent, I had to run the reference fans at their 100% setting to keep things under 90C before (while only running 1440Mhz @ 1.23v for the gpus, max stable on air)... the noise was unbearable.

Thats my problem I want to run 980ti SLI but im fearing that I wont hit the silicon lottery the next time and my second card will barely do anything. (also I dont really need SLI for games or anything im on 144hz 1440p which my card can hold above 60 on pretty much anything. more just because i have extra cash from my summer work)
