WHY DID THEY SPREAD THE TIM

A lot of people still use poor installation methods like physically spreading the TIM.

Some TIMs are designed to be spread like Liquid Ultra and Gelid GC Extreme, maybe that TIM they used was one of those that needs to be spread.

The TIM they used in those videos was definitely not the kind that need to be spread.

Why would they spread it? Next time they should use the grain of rice method. I wonder what the temps were.
