Sennheiser Momentums?

Go to solution Solved by Dudenstein,

I have them and they are wonderful. They have a more neutral sound profile and I've experienced that they cover all of my bases in regards to the genres I listen to. The bass is very respectable. They aren't overbearing and more importantly they don't have the single note bass that other sets have. The bass is very detailed and very defined. They are definitely expensive but I felt that the momentums were definitely worth the money. They look sexy too which never hurts.

If you have big ears the "over ear" versions are more like on ears.

Mdr-1r's are nice for music and gaming.

Ad-900x because of the way they're open are really good for gaming.

I've never used the Over-ear version of the momentums, but I think there are better options for the same price, or less. Would you like some recommendations?

Deletive mentioned the AD900x', these are very good headphones for gaming. They're what I use for competitive gaming, and are still fantastic for music if you like a brighter sound signature.

the Mdr-1r's seem promising Il have to read some reviews

Are the Ad-900x's the same headphones Linus reviewed not so long ago? where he said they are not the best for small heads and had to use an elastic band?

Haha so they will fit well with smaller heads?

Yeah I have a rahter small head and it fits nicely. I also have glasses too and it's like it's floating on my head.

I like how they sound for EDM, but I would think group of people don't because of the "lack" of bass, or thump.

I personally have to use one elastic band, but they're still comfortable without it. Adding the elastic just made it feel more secure. I'll be posting my full review of them soon, so stay tuned for it.

Np, :) Um with Bass is not overpowering but still good enough to not be muddy. it's very detailed and punchy.

with electronic music it sounds fulling.

I tried them a couple of times and they are extremely comfortable and sound pretty good, but I'm not sure they're worth the price.

$250 is a pretty competitive price bracket, alot of headphones are comfortable in that price range. I'm curious about how they sound, like sound signature, do you remember at all?

Thanks for the answer, I feel the look of them and all the positive reviews they have have made me one sided towards them rather than all the others, I feel they are a tad on the expensive side but I feel you are also paying for the looks of them (id wear these outside) whereas the others I wouldnt. Thanks for all the responses guys, much appreciated.

At $250 they are great, they were priced at about $150 more than that where I was though.
