My whole computer, desk, monitor, printer, etc.. was bought around 2009/2010, so it's that old. Well, I guess I AM using an old AMD Athlon XP 2800+ based computer as a foot rest under my desk, which also has a very old 15+ years old 3com ethernet PCI adapter in it. (should still be in working condition too, just ain't no way I'm using it)

-snip-

A Logitech MX518 I've had for at least 6 or 7 years. The film on the black stuff on the sides peeled off but it doesn't even make any difference. Great mouse!

I agree! I'm using the MX518 too, nice mouse.

Got lucky and my current rig is a G75VW notebook...

My only excuse of ancient is the rig itself......

Logitech Wingman Formula GP, and my stereo. Both well over 10 years old. Both still work great. Can't complain!

Never say it's not broken. Everything is broken. Why? Because everything needs MOAR POWA!

probably power supply since I normally tend to upgrade to the next big thing whenever new stuff came out. although I did skip ivy e since they were still in 2011 socket so no go for me.

Dude we have the same keyboard. I just upgraded to this one after the older one ascended into heaven in a chariot of fire .

And the oldest part of my rig is the optical drive that still uses an IDE cable .

I don’t ever plan on getting rid of it. It looks ghetto as balls sticking in to the motherboard when all the other cables are arranged so well.

I don't use optical drive bays, so the computer I built for my mom in 2011 was missing one. It was on an ASRock P67 Fatal1ty motherboard, which for some reason had an IDE cable slot, so I threw an old Lite-On ODD in there. The thing is going on 15 this year I think.

Fascinating. What a great contribution to the discussion.

Yes, because your reply to me was soooooo much better.

But I did look, and it appears that my SoundBlaster 16 (ISA, of course) is the oldest thing in HELIOS. Like 1997-ish.

My Antec Performance II case from 2002, bought originally for a P4 Northwood build and after many reincarnations is now home to my i5/z87 rig.
