my mom's laptop is dying and she needs something she can do her banking, facebook, and some flash games on...

she's also not willing to go back to one screen... (she currently has one plugged into her laptop) she likes to have her word documents and exel files on one screen and her facebook and email open on the other.

so i wanna know, will this build handle her graphical needs? she doesnt need much storage than that, snd she's definately not interested in an ssd just for boot times, as she'll only ever turn it off once a week.

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/fFQCZL

(if you plan on modifying, dont change the motherboard to something that doesnt have wifi, she hates having more cables being used)

soryy for making so many new topics. xD

That's too much, what's wrong with the laptop?

myfamily has just had bad expieriences with laptops.... especially in the under 500$ range.

we also dont move around much... so portability is pointless for her...

she wants to upgrade to a deskop one soon and she really wants to be able to run two screens...

Why 500w psu"s though? This pc will probably never have a gpu and 350w would be perfect.

The most common result of insufficient wattage is a paperweight that looks like a PC

i know that, but she'll need the ability to run the two screens with alot of other shit at the same time. xD

skype, chrome (probabbly about 3 tabs average) word, exel, and some small time games like plants vs zombies.

she's the type of person who will literally open up a game to pass the time of google taking time to find her search. xD

CX500 is the cheapest PSU available on the Canadian PCPP site that I would be comfortable with using, but I guess this would be okay too. Adds room for a possible future GPU upgrade for a bit of gaming (which a 5350 can definitely handle)

And another thing, 8GB RAM will make a world of difference add it please, the extra cost will be justified in the performance

For minimal stuff like Facebook and just general internet browsing, 4gb should be more than enough. It's safe to assume there won't be hundreds of open tabs.

Well, aside from the illegal factor, I'd rather pick up a copy for 2 years and then replaced it with an actual copy of windows 9, which should be released soon.
