Another Memory Issue... FML

So I got my new ECS board today and it has the same issue as the ASrock board!

 

Doesn't want to boot with all 4 sticks!!

 

WTH!

 

On my AMD build it works perfectly fine but on the Intel build it doesn't.... 

 

All opinions welcome...

Use Memtest86+ and validate every stick of ram.

 

Are they matching Set / Pairs in each channel?

ECS is one of the brands i don't trust. Honestly, it could be the RAM or the board. I have an Asrock board that works fine with mismatched DIMMs on Intel.

Make sure all of the DIMMs are matching. Make sure the board will actually use all four slots at once.

Check the RAM compatibility page on the motherboard's website. Also, this may sound stupid, but try and reseat the CPU.

ASRock has been really good for me, but ive only had one board. Z77 Extreme6

Sorry your RAM is fuxxored. Check and see if it has warranty, most RAM has lifetime.

When I put the other 2 sticks in the computer wont boot. 

 

But when I put the 2 working sticks it works fine. 

 

I have the Avexir memory so the only problem with them is that they don't have an office in the US. 

 

So they would have to ship it from Taiwan.

 

Not sure how long that would take

If it was my memory from the start I now have 2 working motherboards. 

 

The ASrock Extreme and the ECS Black Extreme 

 

So I might just buy new memory
