Should LinusTech upload videos in 1440p or 2160p ?

They have an Sony fs700 running their rig. It can run 4k RAW at 60fps. Right now they record 4k downsampled to 1080p pro-res. So they can do 1440/4k in the future.

Mind telling me why? Do you have 40 inch monitors?

I can make it whatever size I want, and I don't have to worry about a bright white background due to using a chrome plugin. It also means I can have it in the background if I need to.

Youtube will just end up compressing it all to hell anyway, why make Linus waste time for that?
