It's not about respecting their choice as an individual. It's about not wanting your partner to make a plethora of videos getting naked and boinkin' of random-ass people while being "committed" to you. Not everyone is into an "open" relationship.

 

In my previous post, I was not specifically referring to being in a relationship with someone in the industry.  It was a broader commentary on the prevalence of people consuming porn, but at the same time demonizing the choice of being in porn.
