This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

I'm kinda waiting for a comment about how the ATH-m40x are better in value.

OP: You should state your preferences, like what type of music do you like? would you prefer open or closed? is portability an issue? what will you use them for?

edit: SSL beat me to it. lol

Hi I'm looking to buy new headphones. My max budget in $200

Are you looking for closed or open? Do you like bass? Do you game? if so, competitively or fun? What kind of music do you listen to?

You must "Quote" to get my attention.

I've just received my ATH M50 and i'm very pleased, but i had the same budget and i chose the M50.

I was considering the DT 770 pro 80ohm, DT 990, Custom one pro and even the beats solo 2 (i've seen very good review, really check them).

Anyway, i bought the m50 because they were the less expensive.
