£2,000 Gaming Setup

LukeYNWA

Hey!

Now, I've been given a task and to be honest a massive responsibility to build a close friend not only a Gaming Rig but also plan a full setup for him. So this means Monitor(s), Peripherals, Windows etc etc will all have to be included in the budget.

A few things to help you guys and my-self:

He wants a Red/Black themed build (I know, Generic right?)

He wants a modular power supply so he can get red sleeved PSU cables

Parts/Peripherals he's absolutely set on having -

NZXT H440 (Red/Black)

Corsair K70 Keyboard (Cherry MX Blue)

Corsair M45 Mouse

So that's it, I have a build in mind but I just wanted to get some other suggestions...

Thanks!

So a friend trusts you with a full set up and you pass it off to us? :)

Pass it off to you? I've asked for some suggestions. As I said in OP I have a build in mind, I'm just not 100% sure on it. I would also explain and confirm with him before he go's all out.

It would be my 6th build.

I've just told him as you posted that, I also told him to wait for the 800 series? (Around March next year). I'll see what his reply is...

Does he prefer higher resolution gaming or higher fps?  So 1440p and above or 1080p and >120Hz?

Something like this if he wants to go for the higher resolution: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Jamdude/saved/qHD7YJ

Or this for higher refresh rate: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Jamdude/saved/FPH7YJ
