i5 4670K Gaming

How good would be i5 4670K for Gaming but with out GPU?.
Playing at 1080 or 720
Games like Watch Dogs, Call of Duty ADV warfare....
And what difference would make if i add to my system gpu like AMD Radeon R7 260X Sapphire OC 1GB with that CPU

 

would i be able to play at 30 FPS or little bit more? at medium settings?

Pretty much any GPU from the last 4 years is faster than the onboard graphics for Intel CPUs. It will make a difference.

Not very good. im guessing your going to be saving up for a gpu after? (the 260x isnt very good but it would make a big difference)

HD 4600 is decent but only for lower end games grab the R7 265x or the R9 270 and you will have a decent rig.

Get an APU if you don't want a discreet graphics card. Intel's integrated graphic's are pretty abysmal compared to AMD's APUs.

Intel HD Graphics aren't very good for gaming, mostly best at light gaming at low settings.

No, the integrated graphics in Intel CPUs are quite bad, and terrible for gaming. You should get an i5 4440, so you save some money there, and then, a Radeon R9 270. Great combo and you'll be able to play (at least you should be able to) Call of Duty Advanced Warfare at 1080p without any problems, Battlefield 4 at 1080p high settings, or even ultra.

Man, you'll live (maybe) if its just for getting through until you can get a dedicated card but dont rely on it forever, if u cant afford a gpu and arent planning on buying one in the future go for an apu or, pls dont hurt me, a console.

At most you'll be able to play at 30fps in medium at 720p. The 260X would make a huge difference.

FX-6300 and r9 270 would play most games on high settings 1080p

you will be able to play 1080p/720p on very low settings, if you can get a decent gpu with in a few months e.g gtx 760 r9 270x. buy the i5 4670k now then that later

Its good CPU for games and will be good for another 3 years. The integrated gpu isn't that good. You will either have to skimp on resolution or gfx. Your choise. But it wont be bottlenecking any gpu in next few years.

To add: It will CERTAINLY not play watch dogs or CoD modern warfare in 1080p, even not on the lowest possible settings. I think you'd be using 720p with medium to low settings to make it even a bit playable

the hd 4600 is actually enough to see you through until you get a gpu, it's what i'm doing.
there is a channel on youtube that shows games running on this igpu.

borderlands 2 on medium to high @1366x768 avg 30fps

titanfall medium to high @1366x768 30fps

grid auto sport low@1366x768 30fps

tomb raider is around 40 on low-medium if remember correctly.

if your just using it while waiting on a gpu it will be fine, but it isn't a long term gpu

oh and moden warfare @ 1366x768 medium-low is 30-40 fps

if you really wanna see the just youtube hd 4600 gaming or type a specific game nd then hd 4600

if you can afford a 4670k, you can afford to buy a decent GPU
