Suppose it's alright but EVGA is quite new to making motherboads in comparison to the other companies.

it's a very good motherboard, but believe it has an issue with sli (don't know if it's been fixed in bios update yet) where you need to put the cards in slot 1 and 4 for 2 way sli or you may get errors or bsod.

 

I only know about this from watching JaysTwoCents on youtube. he used the same board in his pc.

 

 

about 16min 15 sec into video he talks about sli issue :)

Is that a watercooled board? Never really saw the point in cooling your board too, but it seems ok

Crazy OCing I guess, your VRMs can get super hot

EVGA stuff is always priced higher than what you need even in a board meant for overclocking and basic features.

 

Also, do you currently have a chip you know runs at 4.8 or is that a pipe dream you think the board can make happen?

This is the only all black board for Z97 because and I need a all black board for my project/build.

I'm just guessing that the 4790k I will get will go to 4.8 because I will have a quad rad and a triple rad and also a dual rad.

It's not a guarantee, I'll prepare you for that now.
