I've been looking online and in stores to buy my first mech keyboard and i'm not having any luck.

The only thing i can buy in my country are CM storm boards with reds or blacks and Razer blackwidows with blue.

I tried the switches out both and i really like the blues better than the reds but i've been reading that the razer boards are from a cheap OEM and are not very well built.

So my problem is: Buy the razer with the nice blue switch (is it really that bad?) or get over myself with the blue stuff and get a red one from CM.

I would just ship one but i have currently no access to a creditcard (no work = no creditcard here so) and i cant borrow one so those are my two options.

Any insight will be very mutch appreciated!

I own a Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition and Ultimate, and I can vouch for them not being cheaply made at all. They're both great keyboards, although I prefer the tenkeyless form factor and fingerprint-proof finish of the TE over the Ultimate. Good luck with your purchase.

You can't order a blue-switch keyboard online? The great thing about CM Storm is that they have configurations of just about every switch type in every keyboard.

...I just checked CM's website, and model number SGK-6000-GKCL1  has blue switches. Can you get that and the best of both worlds?

Not a big fan of Razer, but if you're left with not much of a choice, either CM or Razer would be fine. I have the Storm Trigger Cherry Red and Quick Fire TK Cherry Blue, both are fine....but since you cannot get them with the switch you want, I'm sure the Razer would be fine as well. Mech KB tend to be more solidly and well-built in general. Since the Razer has the blue switch you want, you can't go wrong with it....

I had my mind set on a CM board also, but they just arent available here, the only thing you can buy here are the ones with red switches. The mech kb market here is really small and we have only one importer of ducky keyboards and they have been out of stock for half a year now except 1 with red switches.

I've ordered the Razer blackwidow 2013 ultimate and i'll post back when it arrivés with my feedback on it.

Thanks for all the comments btw :)

Are you sure you can' t get it imported though? I might be a bit late my say personally I got my kb shipped to the UK from the USA. It was around the same price as the boards here but actually had the switches that I desired.

Blues are a v.good choice though, enjoy!

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

I've looked into that but i have no acces to the required payment methods, like i said in my first post, no work = no creditcard :p And they are also not that popular here so the people who have them around me dont want to use them on the internet because they are scared of hackers and stuff, its silly i know :p

Assuming you've gotten the newer Blackwidows (TE / 2013), then there's no issue. It's the older Blackwidows that had issues.

Good to hear, i got the 2013 elite it should be comming in within the next few days
