CS:GO sensitivity setting

So.... Right now I play with 800 DPI and 1.95 sensitivity in Counter Strike: GO

 

I hear often that pro players don't play with nearly that high of sensitivity, and I'm wondering if my sensitivity is just too plain high to be accurate. 

I just recently switched to this sensitivity, so do you think I should get a lower sensitivity before I get too used to this one?

mine is way higher and im decent ly acurate, its mostly my skill to gett better, i have a 24500 dpi and 4.99 sensitivity 

 

im also kinda a sniper so i should turn it down

Play with what feels comfortable to YOU. I don't understand why people ask for sensitivity/dpi settings.

Don't try to copy the pros. Use what's comfortable for you!

 

Search for the tao of cs, and download it. It's older, during 1.6 iirc. However, it can still be applied to modern fps games and of course, CS:GO.

I just play at 1080p, and in-game I have 5.56 sensitivity, and my mouse is set to 450 DPI.

You just need to have as many wins as possible.

If you have more friends playing CS:GO, get 4 of them, and form a team, play competitive together, and communicate with microphones. Usually, if you are Silver 1 and your teammates are also Silver ranks, you will play against similarly ranked players, so it should be a fun match. The more matches you win, the better your rank will be. Losing matches will get your rank down.

Lower is usually better (up to a certain point). Especially in CS since you don't have to do sudden 180°s. You can simply be more precise with a lower sensitivity, some pros use 80+cm for a 360° (that's probably uncomfortable for the most people), see if you can get to 35cm - 45cm and if it still feels okay to you.

yeah i just end up againt non ranked players, they have to have a emplem to be ranked right, im trying to get some friends to play so it shoul be fun

You'll play against amazing players. You'll get owned at first but it's the only way you'll get better at the game. They do organized scrims, pugs, and matches.

 

Plus they track stats and things of that nature.

You'll eventually get it. Trust me, everyone that plays cs does.

ok, im guessing i should learn some spray control and adjust my sensitivity until perfect and get a custom crosshair

Using 0.5 sens, 400dpi, 1000hz, 0.75 zoom and 1920x1080 res.

 

A huge plus of having a large mouse pad such as the Qck+ is that you can have lower sens and still make alot of shots.

 

I've been asked in the past if having such low sens settings effects gameplay, the only thing I can say is that if a player is behind you you're already dead.

I am a DMG and I use 400 DPI with 3 in game sens.  I also disable pointer precision in windows.
