It's a shame really, this is going to be practically all the news stations are going to cover for about two weeks.

 

Funny enough they do similar shit with artists like Micheal Jackson, nobody cared until he died, people disliked/made fun of him, then everyone cared for like a month, then he didn't exist again anymore. 

Public opinion seems to change on a dime and it's really obnoxious to watch.

You're right on that one, though. It went from "Michael Jackson is a pedophile!" to "Michael Jackson was one of the greatest artists of all time, he will be missed." Public opinion is so unbelievably fake it borderlines on being a mental disease. 

 

We'll probably see this for awhile before it fizzes down again. 4chan's /b/ won't shut up about it, dunno about the local media, haven't had a compelling reason to turn my tv on. If this didn't happen, it'd probably have more focus on the whole Tony Stewart death.
