Easy, get the job I want. Which is now also pretty straight forward.

What do they know of England, who only England know?

What would you have to do to move to Canada?

Search on Google for "how to immigrate to Canada", you should be able to find the official websites that will tell you what you need to know, how to apply and everything.

Considering that you're in the US currently it should be considerably easier than immigrating from other countries. I live in Canada and I know a lot of people who moved to the US for work, they've been living there for decades and it wasn't really hard or complicated.

Out of curiosity, where were you thinking of going? What province? :P

Do try a visit to Toronto during a harsh winter though, it would dissuade you pretty quickly. Nah, Vancouver's where is at, the place is just fucking cool literally: most of the year is between 10 and 20c and winters only dip down to 0 c and such, pretty damn reasonable.

It's not that bad and you get used to it, but yeah coming from Florida it might be a little surpise. :D

I've never been to the BC (I'd love to though), what's the weather like in terms of rain/sun? Whenever I hear stories of trips to BC the words "shitty weather" always came up. :P

And do you really get only 10-20C during the summer?

Even though you get -30C in the winter in the east, at least you get + 30C in the summer to compensate.^^

I was only there for 5 months but my Uncle does lives there and has been there for several years. But yeah it was rainy...like annoyingly fucking rainy....seriously like 20 fucking consecutive days of raining annoying, people right away recommended that I get a couple of decent boots but it wasn't for snow as I thought, it was for the stupid, never ending rain and I'm glad I listened to that advice.

But I much rather have a rainy city than anything below -10c during the winter or above 30c during the summer though.

Pfft, 'harsh Toronto winters.'  If surviving Canadian winters were a video game, Toronto would be the tutorial.

Florida isn't all of the USA, you know. It's Americas swamp land where mosquitoes are the national birds and old people go to retire. Of all the US states I've been to throughout my lifetime, Washington state was most of the best.

If you're considering immigration to Quebec, you HAVE to take a french exam to be let in and the winters can go down to -40 Celsius with windchill an expect 30-40 cm of snow on bad days . You should also make sure you get a milk bag holder  ^_^
Oh and the summers are actually HOT in some places of Canada. In Quebec, most of July and August is in the 25-30s and its really humid so it feels even hotter. Find someplace with good AC.
