Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions for games that are similar to Elder scrolls:Skyrim?

I would like the game to be an open world RPG and would rather it be free to play.

Fallout is made in almost the same engine(not graphically speaking,but the rest is quite similar ) and it's also a really good open world RPG,just not fantasy.Play Fallout 3 and New Vegas.They,too, have lots of mods.

No because the game is horrible, I played it and i just hated it. And the game is really really expensive.

Fallout 3

Fallout: New Vegas.

 

I'll be recommending F:NV. It has great compatibility with systems unlike F3.

Plus there's a lot of customizations than F3.

 

Great game :D

You can bark like a dog, but that won't make you a dog.

You can act like someone you're not, but that won't change who you are.

 

Finished Crysis without a discrete GPU,15 FPS average, and a lot of heart

 

How I plan my builds -

For me I start with the "There's no way I'm not gonna spend $1,000 on a system."

Followed by the "Wow I need to buy the OS for a $100!?"

Then "Let's start with the 'best budget GPU' and 'best budget CPU' that actually fits what I think is my budget."

Realizing my budget is a lot less, I work my way to "I think these new games will run on a cheap ass CPU."

Then end with "The new parts launching next year is probably gonna be better and faster for the same price so I'll just buy next year."

if it has to be fantasy, easy (like skyrim) with no strategy or hardcore rpg elements than there isn't really a lot to recommend except other TES titles, like Oblivion and Morrowind. I personaly love the Witcher games as a fantasy rpg but they are not open world, as an open world rpg that isn't fantasy I would recommend Far Cry 3, Fallout 3/NV, Borderlands 1/2.
