I don't really think ASRock is spun off, I think they are literally a bunch of ASUS employee's that decided to make their own company if I remember correctly. 

spun off or not these guys make some quality boards man. right now im running off a g31m-s with a capacitor taken clean off from an accident (was installing the intel heatsink with a screw driver, it needed force to go down, i put in too much  :unsure:), still good 5 years later

High end Asus, MSI and Gigabyte

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

For me...it's Asus. My favorites from Asus is their WS line of boards (even more than their RoG series boards).

I may not be about that "Thug Life", but I am about that "Nerd Life"; all day, every day!
