PSU double wire and one open spot?

FrankTheTank

Hey Guys,

Going to sleeve my semi-modular PSU today. I've noticed that my 24-pin connector has 1 double wire and 1 open spot on the connector. Can I put one of the double wires into the open spot on the connector?

Is this on the PSU side or on the motherboard side? And what color(if it's color coded)?

For what I can see this is on the connector side. They are both orange and it's a Corsair TX750M.

Well mine doesn't look just the same, I have to reds instead of orange, but it's ground next to it (so position 3) and position 12 I've got double. So that's not gonna work.

I saw a picture of the 24-pin of your PSU and that was missing the white wire so aren't you missing that?

Edit: saw your edit so nvm.

Well then you can't really do anything.

Ok thanks, Will use Lutro0 method than, where he joins the wires into one wire, or just try to squeeze them into one.

Sorry for the edit, forgot my 4 pin cable of the 20+4 lol.
