Best Laptop for Gaming

Go to solution Solved by dragoon20005,

The Lenovo Y50 (edited into Orig. Post) seems to have better specs for the price than the MSIs.

spotted this

I wasn't sure what subforum to post this in, so please move it if there is a right one :D

OK: Here's the deal. My friend has been looking at the Asus ROG 750JX (http://www.amazon.co.uk/G750JX-T4246H-17-3-inch-i7-4700HQ-Processor-Blu-Ray/dp/B00GKG1OUI/ref=pd_sim_sbs_computers_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1HBEEYB2JT0PTCARGM56) as a replacement for his current laptop. I was just  wondering: Is there anything with better specs for the same or lower price (in £). He doesn't want a desktop, he specifically wants a laptop, and I went to CyberPowerPC and got a better laptop for the same price. What should I do?

EDIT: Also looked at the Lenovo Y50 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lenovo-Y50-70-15-6-inch-Laptop-Black/dp/B00LJOTNXG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407480744&sr=8-1&keywords=lenovo+y50). Same price better specs. Opinions?

how about the MSI GT60 or GT70 series laptops?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Wow thanks, will recommend this to him. One of the reviews says to open it and install a Samsung EVO SSD. Worth it?
