Trouble with my R.A.M

Hello 

i have a bit of a problem unloking the full performance of my R.A.M i just got this new laptop a Lenovo G40-70

and in my pc specs says that i can only use 2.22 gigs of ram instead of the full 8 gigs

  1. call Lenovo

maybe look in the bios for RAM size and amount dedicated to iGPU

32-bit OS.

 

Edit: no idea how that happened if it's a new laptop.

It looks like that's a 32 bit OS on there, so you're limited straight away to just less than 4GB of ram.

As everyone was saying, You havea 32-bit OS.So you can't use more than 4GB of ram unfortunately.

You have a 32-bit OS. At least I could figure that out from the Spanish. Get a 64-bit OS.

I would complain at Lenovo over which noob decided it was a good idea to ship a new laptop with 8GB of ram with a 32bit OS.
