Posted August 6, 2014 So I am very interested in the universe and the charecters of this franchise.I would like to ask, what is the cronoligical order of things?I would like to read more and would like to know if there are any books in the riddick universe.Oh an if you ask, yes i used google, yes it did fail me an that is why I ask you guys. Posted August 6, 2014 @Blue Gummy, watch them in this order Pitch Black (2000) -> The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) -> Riddick (2013) I like all of them, though Riddick seems like a recycled plot from Pitch Black QFT. 2013 was an awful rehash. I beg to differ. It had a few bleh moments and it was slow to pick up the pace, but it was definitely a riddick movie through and through. Well, I thought some of the new additions in the 2013 were interesting, but it was still.. too much of the same movie for me, I was expecting something different or a continuation and got absolutely nothing. I guess you can look at it from the perspective of whichever you watch first, the next one will be disappointing except for Chronicles.
