Hacking?

EmeraldKiwi

So I seemed to have pissed off a guy on Battlefield 4 enough so that he found my mom's name, which I believe is linked to my Origin account information. I have no idea how he did it, and I'm a little concerned because he threatened to DDoS me... I know he hacks Battlefield 4 because me and my friend spectated him and watched him snap to other players' heads. He would also run around as as the Medic class and place down ammo packs somehow. What should I do if I think he is going to 'hack' me? I know it sounds slightly stupid, but I'm am sincerely concerned that he could get into my mom's credit info and my Skype info and eventually my IP. Any advice?

Edit:

My friend recorded him while spectating for anyone that wants to see what a hacker looks like.

I doubt he will get credit card info, he would have to start cracking passwords which is a whole different game. Finding out info on someone is not hard. He will get your IP most likely though

I've had people do that to me on Xbox.. They can get information from your IP.  They actually called my house phone and I talked to him, lol.... Just report him and move on

ddosing is only going to hack your "IP" he might know how to view what your doing just change your IP once in a while

you might want to block him, change your username on origin

it's frustrating to get the ip from skype, just change it after he does it, then he'll stop

a couple of ways.

he could have just googled your username, found it connected to an email, searched it on facebook and found you

he could have traced your IP and found the owner

Those hacks hes using are just game hacks and he cant get your origin info with it. But just in case copy all of your game keys from origin to a txt doc, if your acct is hijacked you can talk with support and provide the keys

IT'S CLEARLY A FUCKING JOKE. 105,000 Mbps IS PROBABLY CLOSE TO AS MUCH AS THE CITY GETS. GET A CLUE. Some guy found my IP on Xbox Live, so I found his and used every computer in my school district (about 1,500 to 2,000 computers total, with about 50-70Mbps uploads each) and DDoSed him (with help from my friends, since I wasn't sure how to).

Yeah. I fucked his day up.

Do what I do, piss people off and don't care. He DDOS' you? Big deal! He gets your credit card? You have his origin name which EA can then get his credit card and name. Press charges. I know it sounds like a hassle but it is better to get these people. But I'm a cocky 15 year old, not the best person to say anything on this subject.

It was just a joke. :( No need to take it so serious. You do realize that's 105,000 Mbps combined right??? That's probably as much as that entire city gets. Or at least damn close to it.

2000 computers x 50 Mbps per computer = 100,000 Mbps?

2000 computers x 50 Mbps per computer = 100,000 Mbps?

You dont multiply the connection speed by every computer.. Unless each computer was on its own network, which its not

Yes but he said that in the original post. You corrected him. He said that WOULD (as in if what he said was correct) 105,000

And in my joke I said per computer. So it's not way off. There were so many inconsistencies in that joke it should have been clear that I was screwing around...

You really can't grasp the horrible inconsistencies in that joke, can you? 50Mbps per computer and there are 1,500 to 2,000 computers... I MEANT to be completely incorrect on the speeds. I KNOW how ISP's "rate" your speeds.

I'd report him to origin but I'd also try to open up a case with their support about him. I'd try to remove as much info including credit cards etc. Try to ask your Mom to view her transactions in the event one is made to a victicious or unknown account

Anyway OP, I'm being serious now. Report him to Origin. If you have video/audio proof, that will really, really, really help.
