Recommend me a mouse......

Go to solution Solved by chingpot,

Looking at the g402, I like the look of that thing now, 3 thumb buttons would be a treat.

Basically same dimensions as mx500 as well.

Cheers for all the input people

Been using an MX500 since 2003, what a mouse, 11 years and its just started to double click or miss clicks sometimes and its had more counterstrike induced lobs and smacks than I can count. May just need a cleaning inside but think its time for an upgrade.

I want something very similar to this, I play FPS, i like buttons and my hands are not the size of a gerbil's but also not colossal shovel hands either. Around mx500 size would be nice, whatever the successor is. Been off the scene a while, what are the pro's using for latest FPS.

Cheers

I recommend the G502 or the upcoming G402

Very simple but amazing mice, would be my preference when choosing a "weapon" for FPS games.

*edit: I should give reasons, sorry. I'm usually better at this...

G502/402 because Logitech Gaming Software for key programming is great. Mice have a nice grip for my small hands, I can still palm/fingertip grip them without any issues and there's still a lot of room for larger hands. Good build quality, don't look ugly and plastic like Razer. Good quality of finish on surfaces.

The g502 looks mental, but a little pricey. The M40 much more reasonable though. On the short list

Always buy Logitech stuff when it's on sale. Really you shouldn't have to pay more than $60 for a mouse.

CM Storm Alcor, Spawn or Recon

Logitech G400s

Corsair M40 or M45
