is biostar reliable?

They are okay, but I wouldn't say they are anything particularly spectacular.

Do not expect ANYTHING special from them, and some are of terrible build quality from factory.

my first AM3 mobo was made by biostar, and my last AM3+ mobo was biostar.... god they were just terrible

I don't know enough about them, I've never owned a biostar motherboard, and I've never known anyone who did. From what I've heard they are not bad.

They're not that bad, but there's a very long way from not that bad to goo.

will they turn into a pile of goo?
