Posted July 23, 2014 (edited) I have a 3200$CAD Buget for my PC, everything must be included in the price, I will order the parts online. I also Plan to upgrade Ram and Graphics Card to SLI in the future. This PC will be used for Video, Photo and Sound Editing primarily(With the Adobe Suite), but I will also game on it(Assassin's Creed Series, Battlefield 4). I need a new monitor (or more than one, depends on size and price of the monitor) since I have a cheap 21.5" I will need a new OS, I love Windows 7 and hate Windows 8 (wich my girlfriend has) I had in mind to maybe upgrade to Windows 9 when it gets out I plan to buy the corsair K70RGB and M65RGB but you can suggest something else For the case I am looking for a sturdy, professional looking case with a window (I was currently looking at The Fractal R4 Blackout and Phantecks Enthoo Pro) I am upgrading from a 500$ rig wich does not have the power to edit Full HD video. I already have my own part list(http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/jedylan/saved/ytfmP6) but I want to know what you guys come up with (preferably pcpartpicker lists). Posted July 23, 2014 Do you live near the border? What monitor size do you want? One or two? Do the peripherals need to be included in the price?Do you need a new OS? Maybe show us your parts list so we have an idea of what you think is cool. Things like cases are very personal and hard for us to gauge ourselves. Posted July 23, 2014 Do you need cuda? if no - Generally speaking, programs like Autocad, Aftereffects, or an audio editing program will work much better with a Cuda based GPU. So I would argue that it is in his best interest to get a Nividia card CPU: Intel I7-4790k | MOBO: Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 | Ram: Corsair Vengance 32GB 1600hz | GPU: EVGA GTX980 ReferencePSU: Corsair EVGA G2 850W | SSD: Intel 730 Series 480GB, Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB | HDD: WD Black 1TB CPU Cooler: Corsair H105 | Case: Corsair 760T (White) | Peripherals: (2)Asus VS247H-P, Corsair M65, Corsair K70 RGB w/ Brown Switches
 Posted July 23, 2014 @jedylan, The H100i is not a comfortable fit in the R4 with motherboards that have a high heatsink at the "top". If you are looking for a quiet system consider using an Noctua NH-U14S air tower instead. I am not a fan of replacing all fans in a system before one even knows how noisy stock is going to be. It is a significant expenditure that can easily be made at a later time should it prove necessary. 80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
