At $30, don't even bother. Wait until you've saved up enough to get something like a 750 ti or r7 260x.

apparently the GT 610 from PNY is good. I wouldn't use it for gaming, but I am building a HTPC using that and the Pentium K (anniversary edition pentium G3258) for a cheap performance HTPC

Why wouldn't you just use a chip with integrated graphics?

It's loads cheaper...

If you wanna use it for gaming, dont even bother. Save up at least $100. 

 

If not and you just wanna boost video etc then it really does not matter. They all do the job

Pentium K with GT 610: $110 with the added value of being able to tinker with overclocking it for the heck of it, and Nvidia graphics are less of a pain with windows media center.

There's really no reason to use Intel in an HTPC. Overclocking the CPU doesn't really benefit anything.

I have a friend who has a 610 GT. He is quite happy to play a lower settings and he is loving it. He is always broke so this was a good solution for him.

 

Its a okay card and a modded version Skyrim looked pretty okay actually when I visited him last week.

IMO I would go for the 5450.

5450 is a good chip IMO. had one in a pentium dual core e5300 rig a year ago with 8GB of RAM. Get one with a fan on it. Get one with 1GB VRAM. It was pretty decent until I tried to game. Most games were playable but I wouldn't try it.

I already have all piece for a pc except the gpu. The problem is that the integrated chip is absolute garbage (can't run I wanna be the guy ) so I wanna take a really low budget gpu and put it into the system. This computer will mostly be for watching video on youtube typing text and Photoshoping. ocasionaly gaming on fan game. But that's really all . So no need of keeping my money for a better gpu.

Highly doubt you'd notice the difference in speed, and you require less overall power since you're not powering a graphics card.

I know what garbage I have don't worry your garbage can't beat it. seriously that was a really low budget chip 4 years ago so now it is just pure shit so no nothing can be worst.
