Will my rig handle a GTX 750ti?

Here is my current (and old) rig:

CPU: AMD Phenom 9550

RAM: 4GB

MOBO: mATX Generic HP (Has only PCIe 1.0x16 :/ )

GPU: 8800 GTS

PSU: Corsair CX430w

I was wondering if I would be able to throw in a GTX 750 ti and not have any bottleneck on the GPU? If there would be a large bottleneck, what would be a good GPU to get? I want to build a new system but I will have to wait a year so I need something to play most games decently till then.

Thanks

Your CPU will bottleneck your GPU, most games it should be fine but others might give a bottleneck.

How severe would the bottleneck be on the GPU (due to my system in general) if there were one?

if you can I would overclock your cpu. but most games it should be fine.

Honestly I think I'd just get a 750 and try buying a slightly newer CPU

What about the pcie 1.0? shouldn't it be a limiting factor? And also it's not 100% sure it will compatible.(chances are is is though)

Honestly, i would upgrade the whole thing if it's possible.

Nope because Pcie 1.0 16x ~Pcie 3.0 4x

Nvidia says that it will need atleast Pcie 3.0 8x to get it work.

And it will bottlenecked by cpu .

PCI-e is backwards compatible so card WILL WORK, but it will not provide full performance.
