Please post a picture of the aforementioned ass so I can rate it.

As for the rig, I would say 7/10, it is fast and decently balanced but at the same time is just a standard gaming rig with nothing interesting about it, also I don't like the big CPU coolers, there much more elegant solutions around.

My rig:

  • CPU: AMD FX-8350
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP CML16GX3M2A1600C10
  • GPU: Club3D Radeon R9 290
  • Case: Thermaltake Mozart TX
  • Storage: Crucial M500 2,5" 240GB + 2x WD Green 2TB
  • PSU: EVGA 750W
  • Display(s): Samsung 42" TV
  • Cooling: Corsair Hydro H110
  • Keyboard: Razer Tarantula (bought back in 2006 and still lives!)
  • Mouse: Razor Imperator 2012
  • Sound: Sennheiser PC 350 / Sennheiser RS 160 + Samson Meteor Mic

I guess I'll have to slap another 980 in the build... Nah, I'd only do that if I go 4k... Possibility depending on the performance of win10

Got the GPU for 200 Euro's (2nd hand) nine months ago and I know it overclocks well (was hand picked for that purpose and ran at 1075-1400 on standard voltages, also ran at 890 MHz at 0.95v for most of the time) so I have something fun to do in the future. As for the screen, ghosting is a real issue on TV's like this, so I actually wouldn't recommend it to anyone that doesn't primarily uses there machine to watch films / tv shows.

Not much to go by with this guy, but based on how much he's running with voltage, and how much he paid for the GPU, I give it a 6.5 out of ten.

7/10 Would have gone lower but I like how well you've done on such a low budget.

8/10 (needs more storage!!)

CPU: i5 2320 3GHz

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4

RAM: Kingston super-duper-value-cheap-as-balls 8GB DDR3 667MHz

Graphics: Inno3d iChill GTX 960 2GB (I adore this thing)

Sound: Asus Xonar Essence STX II -> Sennheiser HD650

OS: Win7 64-bit SP1

PSU: 630W ThermalTake SPS-630MPCBEU

Drives: 360GB OCZ Agility 3 SSD (boot) Seagate 3TB Barracuda, Seagate 1TB Barracuda, WDC Blue 640GB, Samsung EcoGreen 500GB

Monitor: Acer P225HQ (I want this thing to die so I can buy a new one -_-)

Keyboard: Dell SK-8135 (Absolutely bulletproof!)

Mouse: Logitech G502 (Broteuses unite!)

Case: Fractal Design Define R3

I'm always adding HDDs when I can get them cheap (the last 2 were at mates rates) and I've been meaning to upgrade the RAM since I built this. Most recent upgrade was the graphics card, also at mates rates, so I saved about £70 on that :), before that it was the soundcard & headphones.

The keyboard is filthy, but I have yet to find an affordable mechanical keyboard that also has media controls!

Be gentle :(

Please rate my PC :)

Rate this guy! He got skipped over. Would do it myself, but I'm on #mobile

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.

@JelleDekkers

6/10 Non K version cpu and I find 6GB Ram an awkward amount, perfectly adequate build though.

The RAM came with my previous PC, a pre-built. My hard drive too.

8/10 I like it! I would get Windows 8, but that's just my personal preference. And I'm not a huge fan of the design of that mobo. That's a good performing PC though; I can't argue with that.

Pretty nice PC. what is it for? I7 with 960 seems like an odd choice if you are gaming.
