Can't decide what to throw my money on...

1. A R9 280X + new 600 watt PSU

 

2. A R9 290 + new 600 watt PSU

 

3. Or a Surface 2  (RT) (I already have this, can still return it)

 

 

I will have way more money available for my vacation if I choose option 1, making for a nice upgrade too for my pc.

 

I will have a bit more money for vacation available if I choose option 2, making a very nice upgrade for my pc

 

I will be tight on cash with option 3, but I think I need a tablet, particularly one like this. And also I like it. (but it has flaws which prevent me from loving it)

 

What would you personally choose?

 

The tablet is useful on the go and I will probably miss it when it's gone but hey....I only go to school one day a week anyway.

 

The upgrades are just nice overall.

Oh it's a vacation to my gf in Denmark. :) And I think my PSU will BARELY handle one, 500 wats..

i would get option 1 and then maybe get a different cheaper tablet like the new samsung tab s

Surface2 is not bad I like surface series too BUT i still dont find tablets practical if you have a nice android phone

then i would go for second option and hope you get one of the cards from the single batch that unlocks in to 290X

CX500 for a 280x is absolutely fine.

Still entitled to my opinion though :P

i'd go with option 1 , spend your time nicely,

 

i know this is a weird read but, scientists have conclude that spending money on experiences rather than on material things/stuff is most likely key to happiness, Plus graphics cards can always be changed later,

Those are long gone my friend

 

 

Get a 290x , and test it on psu , underclock it even or lower the power limit . Go on vacation , then get new psu after

I'd go for the 290, it's just an awesome card.

Also, when throwing money, you should do it like this:
