Sony RX 100 Mark 3 a relplacment for a DSLR?

So two months ago I created a Vlog channel next to my gaming channel. My current Vlogs are filmed with my Nexus 5 and I'm not happy with it's video quality. (Seriously. My only real complaint about this otherwise lovely phone) I want to improve my quality for my Vlogs by getting a new camera but I don't want a huge DSLR. So I've been looking around a little and I found the Sony RX 100 line up. MKBHD calls them the 'best pocket cameras ever made'.

The Sony RX 100 M3 currently costs 825€ which is quite a hefty price tag but If it's good I'll pay it.

The M2 is 510€ and the M1 is 350€.

So guys help me should I do for the RX 100 M3? Or should I go for something else?

Thanks :)

While the III is a big upgrade over the previous models I would personally just get a first gen model, the performance is not 500 better IMO

However, if you want something better, that is still small have a look into the Olympus EM5 and EM10
