@Jaybird

Heres the gear ^_^

Opinions and suggestions welcome.

Helmet: Best I could find for Sub 200
Boots: I'll be wearing around all day so I went with riding shoes.
Pants: Or lack there of, I will get at a later time.
Jacket: Again something I wanted to have good style and I could wear around and not be too hot unzipped.
Gloves: Fit the price range, gauntlet for wrist protection, matches the gear.

I want to stick to a single brand for shoes, jacket, and gloves.

Looks like good gear. I don't ride, I'd like to but as long as I am living with my parents, my mother will not allow it.

As long as you get some good pants with proper pads and stuff as soon as possible it looks alright :)

I say that because after i crashed my enduro in just jeans i've got permanent damage to my right knee.. Which means a bit of a limp..

I've had waaay worse crashes with full gear on and made it away with (relatively) small amounts of damage. Like just a broken rib.

Ride safely  ^_^

Edit:

You may want to look into some proper boots though. Ankles snap pretty easily if they end up underneath the bike or hit something as you're sliding

As long as the jacket (and future pants) have protective padding in the right places (knees, elbows, back, maybe the sides of the torso) you should be fine.

I have never heard of Icon helmets, but it looks solid from what I have seen.

The only thing I can say, is that it's not really my style in biker clothing. Luckily you're not me.

Drive safely man.
