SeaSonic is the best PSU manufacturer. They manufacture all of Corsair's PSUs as well as I believe Cooler Master's. They are the OEM for a lot of PSU vendors.

This is what I would buy. Cheaper and with more wattage, gold rated. But then again it's up to you if you are willing to spend 50 more dollars for 1% better efficiency and 100 less watts.

Ryzen 3700x -Evga RTX 2080 Super- Msi x570 Gaming Edge - G.Skill Ripjaws 3600Mhz RAM - EVGA SuperNova G3 750W -500gb 970 Evo - 250Gb Samsung 850 Evo - 250Gb Samsung 840 Evo  - 4Tb WD Blue- NZXT h500 - ROG Swift PG348Q

SeaSonic or Antec for life.  If you can get an affordable one from those brands you go with it.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

At the same price, I would definitely get the Platinum 660. Otherwise, I would probably get a cheaper option since the 2 psus listed are often not that cheap.

No, there's aren't that many psus from Corsair and Cooler Master that are actually from seasonic. The majority of Corsair's more recent psus are from Channel Well and Cooler Master's manufacturers are all over the place from HiPro, Seventeam, FSP, Enchance, etc.

I guess I'm a bit behind. I didn't realize.

What about the silence?

I currently have a Corsair PSU now (Tx-650 or Hx-650 ?), and its noisy.

Seasonic Platinum over the BeQuiet Pure Power for sure. Not even in the same league.
http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=326

9.6/10. Fully-modular, full Japanese capacitors, Platinum efficiency, excellent voltage regulation, very good ripple suppression.

The only below 10/10 score was the value, because it was fairly expensive. That was the only complaint.

HardOCP and PCPer also reviewed this unit, and came to similar conclusions.

The Pure Power CM L8 630W is an HEC unit, certified as 80Plus Bronze, semi-modular. It's not even in the same league as the Seasonic unit. Probably a lot cheaper though.

Useful resource.

Corsair power supply manufacturers:

Seasonic: Most AX, older HX Series, a few TX and VX series units.

CWT: VS, CX, CXM, GS, HXi, most TX, HX and RM, and the VX550.

Chicony: Some TX and RM

Flextronics: AXi, AX1200.

Great Wall: CSM Series.

Don't think the cooler master is completely silent but it's quieter than most, and depending on what load it has it will be quiter the lower the percentage. 750w would be quieter
