So instead of two cards I should just use one? and I plan on raiding the ssd in raid 0 and the hard drives in raid 1 so wouldnt the red series be better for that or no?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/K7XRYJ here's my spec and yes wd reds are optimized for raid 1

Are you sure the Noctua NH-U12S are compatible with your build?

Let's just put that it will help your rendering work, much like the quadro, while maintaining 780ti's gaming performance

I just made one with more for less money still with a titan tho.

No, it's just being more overpriced

and i guessed that would be the case, is there any real point to change to Samsung 840 Pro Series or are the evo ok?

Yes, though it's not really that big difference in performance

i would go with a higher capacity psu just to be safe. 650w is kinda pushing it imo.

What's the CPU? Just get the motherboard that supports it instead of the ones I have chosen. Asus or Gigabyte preferred.

It's still viable for your work, if you want it cheaper, though the mobo should be Asus Z97 workstation. However, it uses Quadro K600. I prefer Titan for the best of both world
