Rant about RL People

Hello fellow LTT'lers,

Guess what time it is? Yeah, its Rant_30!

This time its about people you know in RL, but not the same as the non techie thread cause this one is about life in general ^^

I'll just start since i did this topic to talk about this and my dumb-fuck co-worker.

Let's just call all the people we rant about here "Ranty"

So my Ranty us (as you may already read) my Co-Worker for about 6weeks. I'm currently working here in China on a projekt together with him and after 1.5 weeks (even earlier actually) he's already getting on my nerves.

When we met back in germany, i thought Ranty was a pretty cool guy but a little bit dumb maybe.

(i already posted serveral status updates here on LTT about him but i will here summarise and expand ^^)

Quick desciption: He is a little short, like 1,7m very short hair but has a pretty big body (works out'n'stuff)

His English:

Since we are here from germany and in China they dont speak german (little english tho either) we have to communicate in english.

His english sucks so many balls its unbelievable. Asks me every two seconds but sadly not things about our project but things he should text this asian girl he met.

His pronounciation is so bad i want to kill myself. For example "chinese" is spoken like "shiny", which is pretty cool when he talks with another chinese coworker about this chinese girl. The dude is always like "Shiny girls?! o.O"

"Relationships and douchebaggery"

So you already know about this asian girl. But additionally he has a girlfriend at home who he "loves so much and wants to spend the rest of his life with her". For this girl he actually betrayed his ex and now her (kinda) with some chinese sluts. Always being like "no, i'm not here to fuck girls" and then in the supermarket "oh yeah, we need condoms!"

Work

Because he is always chatting with other girls at work, i do all the stuff (although i actually should be his assisstent only). Meaning i write some shit in word, then he comes over with no idea of anything but deletes half of my stuff saying its not as he would do it (YEAH SO WHY DONT U DO IT?)

Unsensible and rude fuck

He is just like a big gorilla, that is a pretty good description actually ^^.

I'm chilling at my (our, we share) desk at work when he comes with his chair (on rolls) crushing into mine. Not like a "lets play trololol) thing but just being an asshole.

Recently in the restaurant he threw his Coke on the floor then drank mine because he thought it was his. I'm not too mad about that because we just finished dinner and it wasnt much of my coke left anyways.

But today at work, i had a bottle of water and he had a cup (which we both refilled several times). I went to toilet and when i come back my water is half empty, WTF?! Why would you ever do this? The Water machine (dunno the exact translation lol) is just 3 fucking meters away.

Asshole to others

We have a Co-Worker here who is pretty young and doesnt have much experience. He knows chinese and english tho so he helps us a lot! Ranty always gives him "tips" that will probably not be very helpful for his later career but some are true, just not at the state this little dude is right now. (e.g. asking for a pay raise, he is there in the company for 1-2 years only...)

WTF

On the first few days we came a little late to work (which isnt much of a deal) because we couldnt find a taxi quick enough.

Our friendly little co worker offered to call us a taxi each morning through a phone app. Unfortunately there arent free taxis in our street every morning so sometimes we have to wait longer. Even with this, we come to late sometimes.

What to do? In his opinion, get up as always (7:20, 8 is work begin), chill his life, go out of house at 7:45, be at street at 7:50, wait for Taxi for 20mins, dont get one and walk, Still be perfectly in time for work! OH THAT DOESNT WORK? NO WAY!

I was like, "yeah, we could just leave earlier?" Nope... He wants to buy a motor cycle now

Also, his talking and story telling.

Half the shit he says (about situations i've also been at/with him) is not true or he REALLY exaggerates.

But because i'm nice and i dont want trouble im just like "yeah...."

SO, thats about it with my rant for today Looking forward to post more about him in the next couple weeks ^^

What do you do for work that you travel OS?

I travel what? i'm actually on my way to become an engineer but right now my project is fine tuning the apprenticeship of he chinese industrial mechanics so that its more like the german apprenticeship.

You're from Germany but working in china? Or studying?
