Watercooling Parts

Guest

Could someone who has experience with water cooling pick out the parts I need to buy for this build:

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Davsmith4/saved/hmVD4D

I would do it myself but I don't know enough about how different parts compare to do this well.

This is what i'm looking for:

1. Red tubing

2. Clean looking parts

3. Matte black

I'm watercooling the CPU and GPU.

Thanks. :)

CPU:

Any of these blocks:

Not sure about the GPU. I don't know if ASUS messes with the PCB.

Bay Reservoirs:

https://www.dazmode.com/store/category/bay_reservoirs/

Tube Reservoirs:

https://www.dazmode.com/store/category/tube_reservoirs/

Tube:

Not sure how thick you want your tubing.

Radiators:

https://www.dazmode.com/store/category/radiators_gen1/

Not sure how many you want, what size, or where they can mount in the case.

Few questions:

1. Could you suggest a GPU and a block for it so I will know it works?

2. What size tubing would you suggest?

Have you read through the WC 101 stickies?

They'll help you get a good foothold of how WC works

The GTX Lightning can do amazing overclocks on air. It would run super cool with this on a liquid loop.

I like 1/2" tubing because of aesthetics. But some people like smaller tubing.

Last question I promise. :) Will this case be big enough to fit a decent water cooling system?

Yes. But the closed front will restrict airflow. It's not the worst case for water cooling, but it's not the best either.

If you use this case, use the front and back as intake and the top as exhaust.

I lied. One more question. When looking for 780s I remember the Asus posiden. Is this a good option that will simplify thing?

I don't think you should get a Poseidon if you planned on full cover wcing anyway

I recommend you do plenty of your own research. Your gonna have to know what your doing to set up the loop. Check out Singularity Computers on YT.

EK will have those clean waterblocks you speak off. Primochill Advanced LRT will have the red tubing, I recommend 1/2 ID 3/4 OD. Bitspower will gave the matte black compression fittings.

Bert & Ernie before squirting spermie.
