10-20 FPS, depending on games. Sometimes less, sometimes more. Always a gain.

Odds are that you won't notice a difference at 1080p 60Hz, unless you're using silly amounts of AA or Skyrim modded to hell and back.

As to whether it's worth it, that's up to you. If you can justify spending $200 more on a card for a 20 FPS gain, then go for it. If not, you'll be more than happy with a 780 or 290x.

It's worth the money if you will be playing at 1440p. 780 is really the highest I would go for pure 1080p gaming these days to be honest.

Better performance for an almost unjustified cost. If you're playing at HD+ resolutions, go with either a 780Ti, a 6GB 780, or the R9 290X(cooling and PSU willing). The difference between the 290 and 290X is similar, but less profound.

the diffrence between a 780 and a 780 ti, is much more performance. More cuda cores and a fully unlocked chip.
I do not think anything over an r9 290 is worth the money, Its ridiculous if you think about it...Giving 250 more EUR for (maybe more) 10-15 more FPS? Maybe, just maybe you can get a 290x over a 290 at a decent price (if you can find it under 500) and have much better price to performance, but in my opinion, if you are not spending a ridiculous ammount of money the 780 ti is not worth it
