sweet looks like ill be busy in the next few days when i get time .

Posted again with the new cpu and mobo, not the greatest performance, but for a quick and dirty OC it works fine.

Codename: HighFlyer, specs:  CPU: i5 2500k cooled by a H70ish(2 rad)   Mobo: MSI MPower Z77   GPUs: Gigabyte GTX 660 OC 1150 MHZ core, 3150 memory both   RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16G @1600mhz   SSD: ADATA Premier Pro sx900 / HDD Seagate Barracuda 1TB/Samsung 1TB   Power supply: Corsair RM650 80+ Gold   Case Corsair Carbide 500R   5.4 ghz achieved on the good old 2500k, may it rest in peace. Current daily OC is 4.8 @1.41 v

This all is reminding me I still have my i5 2500k running at stock much of the time with a stock cooler.  Slap me.

Reason it is this way is I didn't look forward to taking my whole rig apart to put a back plate one of the two aftermarket coolers I have available to me to use so I just left it the way it is.  :S

Right now though it says my rig is running at 3.9 GHz so guess maybe I oc'ed it recently and forgot but hate having it that way with the stock cooler.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

What temps do you get running prime 95 max all cores?  For my i5 2500k right now I get into the 90s C in no time with small FFTs test. LOL Eh thing is though for real world performance I just gamed and had no issues with it running at 4 GHz cuz of course cpu is not being put under full load.  What games will really push a cpu right now?  What uses the most cores and most cpu usage?  Just curious cuz I would like to run through some of those games and see what temps my cpu gets up to. :)

Anyway looks like I should get my butt to finally take my pc apart and put the new HSF in and backplate and be done with it but I hate the idea of taking this whole thing apart.  I don't mind upgrades and I don't mind building them but I hate the idea of taking it apart and putting it all back together.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

BF4, and Crysis 3 are two great examples :) I don't use prime95 anymore, as I am more of a fan of aida64 :)
