My top 10 favorite things about this notebook :

  1. It's way faster than my ancient MacBook Pro (I mean seriously, the only game that my MBP can easily handle is Garry's Mod :-(  )
  2. Lots of ports
  3. Freaking signed by some the best guys ever on YouTube !
  4. IPS 1080p screen so the 850M can handle it and not be hogged by a higher res LCD
  5. Great price/performance ratio
  6. Decent thickness (not a brick sized lump of metal)
  7. Decent GPU for the money, although I find it so funny that this is the same kind that Apple puts in their highest end 15" Retina MacBook Pro for $1500 more and calls it the best they can do !
  8. Minimal bloatware, although none would have been better.
  9. Really nice CPU for the money, speaking as a content producer
  10. It's well rounded laptop !

Apple Pippin 2.0 (Corsair Gaming Hackintosh) :

  • Intel Core i5 3570K with CM Hyper 212 Evo Cooler (Push-pull with Corsair AF120 and SP120)
  • 24 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
  • MSI GeForce GTX 670 Power Edition
  • Intel 330 Series 120 GB SSD (Mac OS X)
  • Samsung 840 Evo 120 GB SSD (Windows 7)
  • OWC Mercury Electra 3G 30 GB SSD (Scratch Disk)
  • 1.8 TB of HDD Storage
  • Corsair 600T White case
  • Corsair K60 Keyboard
  • Corsair M65 Mouse
  • Corsair GS800 PSU

My favorite part about it is the monitor's matte finish. I hate glass covered monitors, there's always too much glare.

I love how sexy, slim and powerful this notebook is for the price!!! It's cheaper than most of it's competetors that are only on par with it!! May not be the fastest or the best around however it's still a very good, easily portable, gaming device! :D
